I received a free copy of this book from the publisher not through this raffle.

The beginning of this book started out so strong. We had the younger sister describing to us the family vacation being taken. The descriptions were solid and you could picture the whole resort well. You could tell, with such a big age difference between the narrator and her sister who died, that our narrator never had a clear picture of what was going on. She was so much younger she did not understand everything, which made sense.

But the second half of this book, which continued on an extremely slow burn, led to a repetitive nature of how naive our main character was. She became obsessed with her sister's death-- completely understandable-- but the movement was stagnant. And the ending? Complete let down.
