Let's start with the cover, the cover definitely caught my eye. It's bright, colorful and gives off a tropical, vacation vibe. Based off the cover alone I would have picked up this book.
Unfortunately the rest was kind of a flop for me. I often found myself confused at times, having to go back and reread to figure out what I missed. Everything about this book was slow, the plot, the writing it was just to slow. It took too much for me to not DNF. I had such hope it was going to pick up and give me the vibes I was hoping for.
I don't like to give negative reviews, nor low ratings, but I just couldn't get into this book, and I was rather bummed.
