The first part of the book description makes it sound a little like Natalie Holloway. Pretty girl vacationing on a Caribbean island disappears, suspect is arrested and released, although in that story, the suspect turns out be a bad guy and is arrested for killing another girl years later.
I loved the description of the island and the resort. I also liked the different point of view of the narrator. The story is being told by someone watching the family, but we don't know who it is.
I'm intrigued by the mystery and how the relationship between the victim's sister and one of the suspects will develop and influence them.
