A family vacationing on an Island. The parents have two daughters...Alison and Claire. Alison is older, bolder and wanting to be her own boss in the world. Claire is young (7) and looks up to her older sister.
Before the family leaves the Island, Alison goes missing and turns up dead. Two local boys are questioned, but give no real answers and are released.
Claire grows up and begins working in New York where she crosses paths with Clive, one of the young locals initially thought to be involved in her sisters murder. She trails and stalks him to try to find answers to questions from years ago. She soon finds out that there was so much more to her sister's life than what anyone ever knew.
