Saint X had a slow start for me due to the very detailed description of the setting it begins with, but once it reaches the family and their vacation, I was curious. The story is told from an omniscient narrator looking back on the past, and I enjoyed the insightful observations here and there, but it also caused me to feel distant and disconnected from the story. Still, the writing is so suspenseful and atmospheric that I can't help but turn page after page, wondering what happened to Alison. The cover is stunning, colorful, and absolutely eye-catching.
