I think the best way to describe how I feel about this book is to say that I definitely got the creepy vibes from things like Shutter Island and the Roanoake season of American Horror Story.
Surprisingly, I enjoyed the book. This is not my typical genre but I flew through it in less than 24 hours with an entire 8 hours spent sleeping and another 8 spent out and about without reading.
I would say if you like creepy, light suspense YA books, you will probably enjoy this book as well. As the title of the review states though, I am still processing and am not entirely sure how I feel about it myself. At this point I say that I give it 4 stars and I really enjoyed the book. There were absolutely things that happened that I wish hadn’t but I can’t change it so I’m sticking to this for now.
