I was really excited to read this book because I enjoyed the first couple of chapters from the first impression. I liked this story but I was hoping it would be a little creepier.
I really loved that this story is told in a unique way- through interview transcripts, text messages, video footage, as well as the characters’ perspectives. This was such a quick read because of the way it was written. I enjoyed the author’s writing and I felt that the characters were all quite interesting. I also really liked the chilling atmosphere throughout the story.
I was hoping for the story to be scarier and creepier than it was and that was disappointing. There were also parts of the story that dragged a little for me. However, I would recommend reading this book, especially if you enjoy young adult horror/mysteries and I look forward to reading more from this author.
