Wow. That's the only word that comes to mind first. Wow. Firstly, I really enjoyed the way this book was written: the interviews, the evidence, the recordings, the memories that oftentimes turned out to be false. The plot was haunting and scary, but done perfectly. I really liked the characters, but also that they were a diverse set with different skin tones and sexualities. I was able to find some of the clues before they were uncovered in the story, but I also missed some signs that I realized when they were also unsheathed. One thing I really admired about this book was the subtle twists and turns it made, and not all were ones I saw coming. The ending was shocking, not what you thought at all, not what you thought the book was making you think at all. This was very well done, and it kept me on the edge of my seat.
