This book is absolutely perfect for anyone making a fall reading list full of creepy thrillers. The publisher definitely chose well to release this story in September, right before Halloween!
I absolutely loved how the plot unfolded gradually using multiple mediums. The mixture of recordings, interviews, and memories scattered throughout the novel kept me totally hooked. I was especially glad to find out some of the memories were unreliable, which is totally true to life! No one's memory is ever 100% reliable, but many books overlook this small detail.
In some places, the story felt drawn out. However, I still had a great time reading this book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a good mystery/thriller!
