To be completely honest, this book caught me by surprise but in the best way possible. From the unreliable narrators hiding and misleading every step of the way, to the spooky-ness of the setting and the descriptions this book was completely unputdownable in every way possible. As the characters continue down the mysterious road in hopes to find a missing person, things only get weirder. I love how this was told through multiple different mediums, including articles, social media posts, recorded interviews, transcripts, and emails. There were so many twists and full of so many unexpected turns that kept me flipping the pages and wanting to read more. Rule For Vanishing is the perfect read if you're looking for a paranormal story that is fast paced, delightfully creepy and lowkey bizzare in every sense of the word, and full of the unexpected.
