At first glance I thought to myself, “I definitely won’t be interested in this.” The cover just continued to draw me in. While this is not of my typical reading taste I found myself completely intrigued by the description. I actually wanted to know what was happening and was a little bit thrilled with the fact that this story has the potential to really make the little hairs on the back of my neck stand at attention. I can’t help but think of the movie Paranorman when I read about Lucy coming about once a year. I love that movie, so to think of it as I read about this plot makes me feel even more like I need to read this book. I need to know what happens as they enter the woods. Sara is SO sure they are going to find it. I have to see where this ends. I quite enjoy both the cover and the writing style the author chose for this book. I like the interviews and the text conversations.
