There are lots of fantasy books out these days, and I wasn't sure I was in the mood for another one ... until I started reading the preview chapters. The tale involves very much alive and real teenagers who happen to live in a town with an unsolved crime that is half-a-century old. Since the urban legends relating to this myth refuse to go away, some people are still interested, and those people include two sisters with biologically different parents. To whom does the mystical road appear? And why? I'd certainly like to finish this book and find out! I can't say that the cover design necessarily would catch my eye in a bookstore.
