This is my first Christina Lauren read. I had to check one out to see if all the hype was worth it. I went into this without reading a synopsis or anything. I devoured this book in just shy of 5 hours and loved every minute of it! I could not put it down until I found out how it ended. Holland has a crush on a subway musician in NY. She goes out of her way to see him perform and finally gets the nerve to talk to him. She tries to get him a job at the theater she works for and finds out he's an illegal immigrant from Ireland. Calvin turns down the job and goes back to busking. She decides to solve the problem by marrying him so he can fill an important role in the show. They end up getting married and falling in love, and then it all falls apart. It is adorable, and heartbreaking and just absolutely beautiful. Not one of those books where the guy is perfect in every way... but Calvin is real in every way Hook, line and sinker I will now go find every CLo book out there and read them as well.
