I didn’t know what I was getting into when I started this book. I just jumped in blindly. The beginning automatically caught me and peeked interest in me. She was born in a cab, how interesting. As I read, they kept the guy a mystery for a little bit. Then we finally got to meet him. I did struggle to get into the book, but once I started I couldn’t stop. After a incident, they left so many things a mystery and I was curious. I do wish we got more physical features of the characters, if they haven’t come sooner. “Jake” who we found out his actually Calvin sounds like a mystery. Like why does he do what he does and why is he always at the subway station? I didn’t get to read the whole sneak peek, but I am so excited to do so when I get the chance!
