I loved Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren which caused me to download the audiobook of Roomies. The narration was fine but I couldn't get into this story. I honestly think all of the awkward references to sex toys did me in. Only made more awkward by the fact that I was listening to someone else read this story to me.
I know plenty of people who love steamy/sexy reads and wouldn't bat an eye at these elements but they were definitely not for me.
The storyline was cute at first but was clearly headed into the bedroom. If this had been more closed-door romance, I most likely would've stuck with it.
Unfortunately, I did not finish. I abandoned it after about an hour or so of listening. If you prefer your romance clean, this is not the book for you. If you don't mind steam and sexual references, this will probably be everything you hoped for.
I also read In a Holidaze by CLo which I thoroughly enjoyed so I'm not giving up on their books just yet.
