Excuse me while I go swoon and have high expectations of relationships now thanks to CLo's books and wander around NYC looking for my own Calvin, brb.

This has all the things I love: Music, Broadway, New York City, guitar playing, attractive man with an Irish accent.

I loved that this was set in NYC and, me living in NYC, I can relate SO much. I mean. I don't have rich uncles who pay for an apartment in midtown and work for a famous broadway show but. The NYC part I can relate to.

Holland’s uncle is the creator of a famous broadway show, and with the lead musician leaving, they need a replacement. Holland just so happens to know a talented street musician who plays her subway stop a few times a week, and brings her uncle over to listen to him play. When they find out Calvin has an expired visa and isn’t a citizen, the stage manager throws out the idea that Holland should marry him so he can work for the show...and Holland is crazy enough to go through with it. What follows is amazing, funny, sweet, and romantic all in one.

I loved how this focused so much on music and broadway! I’m not a huge broadway person, but I do appreciate it and see shows every so often. (Go see Waitress, it’s fanTASTIC!) I can’t think of many other books that focus so heavily on music and broadway like this, so this was refreshing!

I certainly  appreciated the romance in this book - it was very steamy, I blushed quite often while listening to the audiobook. This was everything I wanted from a CLo book and I'm so satisfied. They really are my go-to gals when I want a good contemporary romance story and I’m not disappointed!
