I Love a good Christina Lauren book! This author duo is an auto-buy for me. Roomies was a great feel good romance where you were just waiting for Holland and Calvin to admit that they had feelings for each other. This story takes place in Manhattan and starts when Holland is attacked in the subway station and thrown onto the tracks. Calvin is a musician who plays in the subway station and saves her from the attacker. As their friendship develops, Holland finds out that Calvin's visa has expired and he is in the country illegally. Holland doesn't hesitate and offers to MARRY him because she has been seriously crushing on him.
This story is such a feel good rom-com type and I absolutely LOVED it! Holland is such a likable and relatable main character and it's not hard to root for her the entire time. I would definitely recommend reading this if you 1. love Christina Lauren or 2. Love a good easy romance read!
