Just what I was looking for! Not overly cheesy chick lit. I love the marriage of convenience trope, though I wish there was more scenes of Calvin playing music.

Holland, an aspiring writer, hears and sees a talented guitarist everyday while using the subway. She's been surrounded by music her whole life, so she knows talent when she hears it. She becomes so obsessed with this musician that she tries to schedule her subway trips according to his schedule.

Turns out, Holland's Broadway director uncle is looking for a new violinist so Holland persuades him to give the subway musician a chance. Needless to say, the musician, Calvin, gets the part despite not playing the Violin.

He turns down the part because he is an undocumented immigrant from Ireland. And of course, to fix this problem, Holland and Calvin decide to get married.

This was the cutest book! I tend to like my romances on the sweeter side, so again, this is exactly what I was looking for.
