Good for big fans of romance, Wasn't a personal favorite of mine
Eh, I really wanted to like this book. However, as the plot continued to unfold I found it to be a predictable and cliched romance that left me disappointed. It wasn't awful, but simply unimpressive. If you are a huge fan of romance and light hearted stories, you may enjoy it. But it wasn't my cup of tea.
The style of writing was easy to follow and the author is skilled at creating realistic and lovable characters within her story. My complaints are more centered around the plot line itself. I'm not a huge romance fan, so this could be one of the 'it's not you, it's me,' scenarios.
I did love that we saw representation of the LGBT community within the novel (the main character's uncles), and really thought that dynamic was good for the story.
