This was my first Christina Lauren book. And I thought it was good. A sweet, yet predictable Romance. I do not read a lot of the Romance genre and what I have seen from readers that do, there is a layout to what a Romance book should be. This definitely fit the mold of one with tropes that I found to be a tad boring.

The romance itself was timid to start and definitely does not go into the level of over-descriptive sex scenes. However, some of the writing during these scenes did make me laugh because of the vagueness.

The main character was a bit sad and knowing that this story was more than likely going to end with the layout of 'happily ever after', it kind of made me wish throughout reading it that it didn't.

I did listen to this on audio and love that there were multiple actors because there is nothing greater than hearing a male lead with an Irish accent.
