Quick review of Roomies. I read this one on Scribd, using their free month trial at the moment. Roomies is about Holland who has a crush on a NY subway musician she has named Jack in her head. One day, she is brave enough to talk to him, and learn his name is actually Calvin. When her uncle’s musical needs a new lead musician, Holland thinks Calvin is the right man for the job, so she convinces her uncle to let him audition. Everyone agrees, Calvin is right for the part, but when her uncle calls to offer him the job, they learn he’s from Ireland, and his visa has been expired for 4 years. Holland’s solution? Marry the guy. Will things go as planned, or is this just a recipe for a horrible disaster?

This is another single viewpoint of Christina Lauren (through Holland’s eyes). I thought it was cute, with some really funny moments (like the birthday dinner at a restaurant). It has some steam, but isn’t overly steamy.
