I LOVE anything Christina Lauren, and this is no exception. This is a classic rom com, filled with things I love: music, theatre, New York City and a hot guy with an accent.
The writing style is exactly what you want with this type of story. It's light, girly (in a really good way!!!) and draws you into the story without hesitation.
It's super easy to relate to Holland because she is a very realistic character. We've all had crushes, and I know I've changed my daily schedule to ensure I can see someone I like every day.
It's very hard for me to rate things lower than five stars because I truly love so many different genres. This one definitely fits into a specific storyline "box". I personally don't mind that at all, but if you're looking for some big plot-twisty contemporary romance novel, this isn't it. It's quirky and cute in all the ways that count and is a very quick and wonderful read!
