I love Christina Lauren books. I think I need to say that before getting into this. I love that the female characters and usually pretty strong or at least believe in a part of themselves enough to not let people walk all over them. This is not the case with Holland. She kind of sucks. And I don't mean that she's a bad person or untalented, but man does she have some serious self-esteem issues. She doesn't even try to do something she enjoys (writing) because she's afraid she won't like it enough? And her uncles hand-deliver a job and pay her bills and she's still miserable? Girl, no wonder you have a hard time believing that the super hot, super talented dude you just happen to catch the eye of is interested in you. I have a hard time believing it too.

Also, let's talk about that. Calvin is apparently massively attractive and happens to be just perfect for the musical her uncle is producing AND happens to just fall madly in love with her after a few months? Okay. That's not happening in real life. Ever.
