Christina Lauren has a talent for writing multi-dimensional characters, and it seems like she's hit another home run with this book! Holland's frustration with the state of her life - her job is a gift from a successful uncle in theater, and her idea of a "fun time" is going out of her way to walk by a subway busker a couple times a week - is so relatable. After four chapters, I have lots of questions. Why didn't Calvin, the busker, help Holland when she was attacked in front of him? Will Holland find a better job? What's up with the attraction between her and Calvin?

I like the cover, and think it's a pretty good representation of what I've read so far. New York City seems to play a big part in the book (Holland was actually born in the back seat of a NY taxi).

I can't wait to read more!
