Read in a day! During these pandemic times, it is nice to “escape” and read something fun and light. This is exactly that. I was surprised however, that this book wasn’t exactly what I had imagined after reading the first impression and synopsis. Nonetheless, this book was exactly what I needed, wasn’t overly cheesy but was very entertaining, as I said, I finished it in on day! I look forward to reading more from this author. The characters were likable and the writing was clear and consistent, which I am a stickler about. I also love the quirky cover, if I saw this book sitting on the bookshelves I would pick it up! My only suggestion would to be edit the synopsis as I didn’t get the same impression of the book after reading.
