Romeantically Challenged caught my interest with the title's quirky spelling and the synopsis. You may start reading wanting to know the chaotic whirlwind-of-a-story of how Annie found herself in the incorrect Rome, but you'll keep reading to discover how she handles the unexpected turn in her life. The will-they/won't they tension is clearly established from the beginning in a humorous way, but it's clear there will be key plot points outside of this romantic tension. Marina Adair doesn't pigeonhole her book to being just about romance. You'll want to know more of the back story for both Annie and Emmitt. A great balance of sexual tension, humor, and intrigue behind the characters comes through in each scene to create an enjoyable, feel-good read.
