I loved the premise for this classic enemies to lovers rom com! I enjoyed the characters and their banter. I also liked how slow burn it was! Even though the book begins with sexual flirtation from Emmitt, it takes awhile before a spark really happens. However, that pacing actually threw me off a little. The books starts strong and then would slow down, then speed up again and then slow down. Then the final drama - I knew it was coming but it almost felt like it was resolved too easily or quickly. When I realized it was about to be resolved and there were only two pages left in the book, I was slightly confused.
Overall, it was a fun read, and I probably would continue with the series if the author chose that route.
