I picked up this book because of its fun cover and quirky title (RomeAntically Challenged), so I definitely went in expecting a fun, sexy romance. And, yes, it surely fit the bill in that regard, but it was also so much more. I certainly felt the chemistry between Emmit and Annie from beginning to end, they were both great easy to root for characters. Just with that, I already considered this a successful romance. What I didn't expect and was a such a pleasant surprise, was that "RomeAntically Challenged" was also a heartwarming and quite an insightful story about family and friendship in its many different forms. This additional depth was such an added bonus! I really hope this whole cast of characters get follow-up books, I will be the first in line to read every single one of them!!
