After her recently ex-fiance is engaged again and essentially following through with their planned wedding, but with another woman. Annie needs an escape and accepts a PA job in Rome, only to realize it was in Rhode Island. Needing the change of pace to help her find herself post breakup, she takes the job anyways. Emmitt following being injured on the job returns home from China only to find Annie renting out his place. Emmitt's friends make him agree to act on his attraction to Annie, but while Emmitt recovers from his work injury and tries to find his place in his daughter's life Emmitt and Annie become more to each other than just temporary roommates.
I first read the first look for RomeAntically challenged when it was first posted on BookishFirst and I was completely pulled it. I loved the storylines of the characters and how everything was connected throughout the story. Overall an enjoyable romance story.
