Romances can really go either way for me so I’m surprised how much I loved this one! I also love that authors are now being more inclusive and diverse in casting their main characters (the main character here in Asian). I do have to admit that I am not a fan of the book cover, it reminds me of a lot of chick lit covers of the early/mid 2000s and I think that might effect how people react to the book.
You really connect with Annie in this book and do just want to slap her stupid fiancé in the face. I was absolutely RAGING on her behalf. My guess is that the plot line is pretty typical for romantic comedies but I still think this will be a really enjoyable and fun read! Annie feels like a friend and I can’t wait to keep reading!
