This is going to take me right out of my reading slump!
I haven’t been able to pick up anything to read because I’m a big mood reader. But I decided to read the few chapters of this and I need the whole book. And I can tell it’s one of those books you read in one sitting.
We know that Anh was just dumped weeks before her wedding. Supposedly her ex felt he wasn’t cut out to be her husband so he bounced. But not soon after he starts posting his love for nother women. How pathetic! I think she dodged a bullet with this one. To make matters even worse, he is marrying this women with Anhs dress and venue AND her grandparents wedding date! What a real POS! Definitely dodged a bullet.
Anh has moved and wants to start fresh but she finds her self I someone else’s home who wasn’t suppose to be there until she left. But it’s not all bad seeing as he’s a hunk!! Yes please! Of course she doesn’t see that because she’s still trying to heal from what ever his face was.
Let’s get to know Emmitt which isn’t too much because it was only a few chapters. But we know he’s a reporter that’s home early because a story went bad and he was caught in the cross fire, literally. He’s home to recover, he finds this fiery women arguing with her ex fiancé in his house in his bedroom. Things are going to get interesting! But there is more, the girl he thought would only be a summer fling ended up baring him a child. He turns into I insta-dad but with competition. The uncle, the step dad and the mother passed away. Tragity, this book is calling my name.
I can already see Emmitt is going to bring Anh into who she should be and she might also bring Emmitt to realize what he’s missing not just with his daughter but a whole family!
I’m so excited for this book, did I mention I need this book. My TBR depends on it, my slump is burying me deeper!!
