The first thing that grabbed my attention about this book was the stunning cover. I love the floating balloon hearts, the white house, and the floating "e" from the title font. It kind of reminds me of the Pixar movie Up, in a cheerful way. I also think it is delightfully unexpected and eye-grabbing to have a fun green background, rather than blue. The opening chapter was promising and fun, though I admit to not getting a clear sense of the characters yet. I'm interested to read more and see what unfolds and to learn more about the characters.
