Cute & primed for romance
I enjoyed what I read so far, it reads like a romantic comedy and I can envision if on screen. I like that there's a dual perspective and the first 50-pages establish the main characters quite well.
"Other people’s choices are not a reflection on me."
Anh's circumstances resonates with me, and I look forward to her getting her happy ending. Clark is a Jerk.
I will note that there is adoptee rep, Anh Nih is Asian but raised by white parents. I am not sure how I feel about the Asian "representation," because Annie reads white but that could largely be a result of her upbringing.
