Not only was it informational, it was an entertaining read. The illustrations were fantastic, back from the 1950's to modern day comics. My boys loved seeing how their favorite super heroes have changed through the years. I learned a lot from it too, like what D.C. stood for. My little ones were able to flip through every page and name the superheroes, and enjoyed seeing them in different costumes.. I am not a huge comic book reader myself, but I'm always up for learning new things. Also another thing I liked was seeing how much some comic books sold for. Some of the prices were astronomical. We are huge Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman fans. So it was nice finding out somethings we didn't know. Also the pages smell amazing!!!!
