Rise of the Superheroes is a nonfiction book about DC and Marvel comics books and independent characters. I don't think I had ever read any of the comics but I do watch Gotham and the Marvel movies. I liked to learn about how the creators of DC and Marvel comics. I enjoyed learning about the different superheroes and villains and their stories. I also enjoyed the vintage pictures and the informative events through the years. It gave the history of some of the tv shows through the years. The book was fun to read and I think this book is for lovers of comic books and superheroes. It was interesting, but it seems like a one time read for me.
