This is a nonfiction book that goes into detail about the Marvel and DC universe. It definitely was interesting seeing the background of these characters. I really enjoyed diving into the history. It also made a good introduction to superheroes for fans who have not read the comic books but have seen some of the movies. The book is very colorful and the visuals it contains are beautiful, it almost makes me want to pick up the original comics to see all the art work that went into them.
I am not the target audience for this, but I'm sure this would be a good read for any fan who likes comic books, and the story behind the characters. It would be a great introduction to share the passion with kids to.
