This book was a nice introduction into the world of superheroes. Never having read superhero comics, (yes I'm one of those that have only seen superhero movies/tv shows) I thought it was cool to see the progression of how everything came about during the "silver age" of comics. I also loved that the author did throw in some superheroes from other universes and not just from Marvel and DC (although those were the two most focused on). Getting to see the different comic book covers was really cool as those and the other visuals the author uses really helped me stay pulled into the book and helped prevent this from getting too bogged down. I think this book makes a really good coffee table book and can help be a conversation starter.
