This is a fun book for both collectors and newbies to the Silver Age of comic books. If you're like me and are just starting to appreciate comic books as an adult, this is an excellent primer on what you can find when it comes to Silver Age comics including different publishers, characters, storylines and more. This book covers a snapshot of many 1960s comics, and it also includes information on TV and movies franchises, a timeline of the major events happening at the time, and the author's own recollections of collecting as a child. This would be a great gift for those who are just starting out in comic reading and collecting to see what it is all about. I would definitely read more titles from this author on this subject.
