This was such a good, and adventurous fun middle-grade fantasy read! This book follows a queer boy, Zach as he discovers a mysterious ring with magical abilities. This book has a lot of Jewish mythology and folklore worked into the story, which was cool since I haven’t come across that much in other books. I really liked the storyline of this book and I quickly found myself pulled into the story and I flew through this book. I loved this book’s fast pace and I easily read this one within a day . There were a few short moments where I found myself losing interest, but the book quickly regained it within a couple short chapters. Overall this book was very well written and I can see many middle-grade readers really enjoying the characters and story of this fantasy book. This book is great for young readers looking for a new fantasy story to read.
