This book was hard for me. I started, stopped. Started, stopped. Then finally made myself finish. The first few chapters released in the glimpses seemed so promising. I enjoy new cultural reads and viewpoints and thought I’d be engrossed with this new cultural read. I was wrong. The writing was detached and the characters lacked luster.
My hopes for this book was primarily wrapped around the fact that it held a strong feminism outlook. With the female sibling grabbing her sexuality by the horns and running. The actual description throughout the sex scenes and discussion between siblings was, however, awkward. I was hoping for more and was disappointed.
The blurb was well written. Will catch the attention of many. The book cover is also pleasant. I think that the author had a great idea but it either got lost in translation or missed the mark.
