While the narration style initially threw me off, the story and characters quickly drew me in and I flew through these first several chapters. Already the discussion of religion is so fascinating and I really appreciate Rasheed and Rasheeda's relationship, founded on equality. I think this will be an incredibly hard-hitting story.
