At first, Replenishing the Sea of Galilee seems like a deep, contemporary novel where the MC must go through a metamophosis of sorts. I'm all for those types of stories. I love stories in which the MC is forced to reflect. The premise of tension created by religion is fascinating though and the writing style definitely suits this type of story.
