I liked the cover to this book. It's bright and pretty. However, I was a little disappointed in the story. There seemed to be a lot of telling. I couldn't really get into the characters, or start to feel any sort of connection with them. It's a shame, because the idea of a story in 1920s Jerusalem (and beyond) sounds pretty cool.
