I'm not a huge historical fiction fan, so I wasn't expecting to absolutely love this book. I do love reading diverse books, and I try to seek them out whenever I can so I was interested in giving this book a shot. The writing is my main issue. I was kind of hard to read and I found myself not wanting to finish even the sample.
