culture, religion, family conflict, romance - this book has everything

Not only was I drawn in by the cover, but I am a sucker for books that include family trees, name lists, and glossaries of foreign terms - saves me from having to scribble them in my book journal. I also appreciated the context provided in the epigraph, and the prologue which delves into the ancestral stories. This book checks all the boxes for me.
