This book started off strong and I loved it from the beginning. However, as the story started to unfold and more characters were introduced the story started to fall apart.
It starts off with Gaelle, in the present. She works in a nursing home and has some sort of power. It then goes to the past 200 years and you are introduced to Margot. I loved the story lines of these two women. But then it goes to a fantasy land and that is when the story fell apart for me.
I felt that it kept explaining the same thing over and over again about characters that you already knew about. I got bored with the story and lost interest.
I think it could have been a really good story but the style of writing was not for me.
