I was very curious about this book after reading the initial snippet. I was glad that I was given the opportunity to check it out.
In the beginning, I was hooked and wanted to know the stories of these three (actually, 4) women, each from different times, but had lives that connected in the end. There were some spots in the book that I felt drug on and I had thoughts of not finishing, but then I would get back into it. I'm glad I gave it another shot.
I liked 3 of the main female characters, but I didn't think Gaelle's had enough detail. I wanted to either know more about her and her past, or eliminate her character. I understood more in the end why she was involved, though.
All in all, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.
