We enter Remembrance, a place that slaves risk their lives to get to. A place created by a powerful woman with a vision. On our way to Remembrance we encounter four main characters whose timelines spans from 1791 to present day. We witness these women being knocked down just to get back up to fight for what they deserve, hold true to who they are and learn to embrace the power within themselves. You can’t help but quickly become invested in their stories, and join these strong women for the fight for their lives. Rooting them on in every moment, wanting them to achieve nothing short of the life they deserve to live! I congratulate the author on such an amazing debut novel, and I cannot wait to read more of her work in the future!
