I really wanted to enjoy this book, as the premise and summary seemed interesting. However, there were a couple of things that I really struggled with. First, the pacing in this book was really challenging at times; it seemed like there were sections of the book that were long and drawn out that I really had to force myself to keep reading to get through and then there were sections that happened really quickly that I would have loved to spend more time with. I also just really struggled with the multiple timelines in this book for some reason. I don't always have a problem with this, but I couldn't keep all the timelines and connections straight in my head. I think that the intentions and meaning behind the story were good, but this book just wasn't for me.
