I want to start by saying that the description of this book does not do it justice. I cannot believe that I was so caught up, so impressed by such a short sample. Remembrance is beautifully written. The characters are well thought out. The stories are like traps. Once you start reading, you are ensnared.
New Orleans has been the setting for so many supernatural movies, tv shows, and books. Louisiana, especially the southern most part, has a otherworldly vibe. It makes this book believable in a sense.
The three different story lines and the different eras made the book more interesting. It left me wanting to read the book in its entirety to find out how these characters are connected, if they are connected.
